when trying to upload photo. now, geni only allows upload from existing geni album or from computer. cannot load to Geni from cel phone. please give info, directions to upload from a phone.

Are you sure Geni is not just saying "computer" to mean whatever device you are on?
If you have not clicked on 'upload from computer' while on your phone, try it.
