He appears as born in England before the birth of his parents in Colonial America.

I hesitate saying that Geneanet Might be correct for parents' names???

His mother is currently listed as Elizabeth (Fenald) Clark without sources. Quality sources found to date do not show she was his mother. Similarly, Edward Clarke has not been shown to be his father; he has been removed from Matthew's profile.
