Hello, how do I figure out if my ancestors were Baltic German. My great grandfather ( this is Loren speaking on her father Enn’s account ) is named pavel bachmann and had a dry good store in old town. His father Alexander bachmann was born in Latvia and also a merchant who migrated to parnu.
