Profiles Mentioned:

Autosomal DNA has proven that Elizabeth Roadman Hoke daughter of Johann Ludolf Roadman is my 3rd Great Grandmother. Elizabeth married my 3rd Great Grandfather, Thomas Hoke. Documented sources prove that early in their marriage and before moving to Pittsburg, Elizabeth and Thomas lived in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Sons William R. Hoke, John Henry Hoke, Samuel P. Hoke, and George Washington Hoke were born to Elizabeth and Thomas while living in the Mount Pleasant & Pittsburgh areas. Documented sources provide evidence that Elizabeth and Thomas left Pittsburgh migrating west in the late 1830s to Marion County, Missouri. Census and other sources show their living nearby in St Louis County, Missouri in 1845. Elizabeth's brother George Roadman is listed on the 1860 Central, St Louis County, Missouri near Thomas and Elizabeth Roadman Hoke. The Roadman name continued to be used in the names of Thomas and Elizabeth's grandsons.
I would be happy to correspond and share source material for Elizabeth Roadman and Thomas Hoke and their family.
