Elizabeth Hinton (Johnston) - children

I agree, something is definitely amiss here. Since Elizabeth is said to be my 6th great grandmother, I'll see if I can sort things out. Sometimes these messes are caused by an incorrect merging of profiles that are really two different people.

Her husband William's parents appear to be incorrect (his listed father's date of death is ca. 60 years before William was born!). According to FindaGrave, William's father was Hardy Hinton, not John Hinton.

Ok. Hardy is back to being Hardy

Sorry I was in the midst of trying to fix a few generations of my Hinton ancestors but wasn't quick enough. (You guys are on the ball!) Apparently a long-standing, very detailed family tree that our family has had for many years managed to leave out a few generations and/or mess them up. It's taking me some time and effort to get it sorted. Thanks for your patience and not getting mad at me.
