Once arriving from England, Jacob seems to have stayed in Pennsylvania.
His son Jon was born in Penn.
His son Jacob was born in Penn.
Daughter Mary was born in Penn.
Son Benjamin was born in Penn.
Dau Hannah has no birth location
** Daughter Catherine was born in Virginia **
Daughter Sarah was born in Penn.

The source in the ABOUT section states "The children of Jacob and Alice were John, Jacob, Mary, Benjamin, Hannah, and Alice." No daughter Catherine.
https://famouskin.com/family-group.php?name=17287+jessica+simpson&a... does not have a dau Catherine.
https://cfgs.org/wp-content/uploads/files/quarterly/bt198607_cfghs_... does not have a daughter Catherine
https://www.colonial-settlers-md-va.us/getperson.php?personID=I1951... states Catherine was the adopted dau of Sem Cox.

Catherine Berry Simcock according to her profile was born in Va, and died in Va. Why would this one child of a Pennsylvania family be born in Va., while the other children were born in Penn.?

The DNA results attached to this family indicate Catherine Berry Simcock was a chlld of Jacob Simcock despite being the odd child.

What do you think? Has the DNA been interpreted incorrectly? Is the birth location of Catherine incorrect?

https://www.colonial-settlers-md-va.us/getperson.php?personID=I1951... Shows Catherine Berry as the daughter of Sem Cox (perhaps).

Catherine "Simcock" Cox
Could Catherine be the daughter of Lem. Coxe(Cox) aka Sim ?

I’ll disconnect Catherine as daughter of Alice Simcock & Jacob Simcock

Erica, what do you think about the DNA?

At DNA matches for someone born 1695 are extremely problematic. Geni doesn’t even propagate test results beyond 4 gens. I don’t see MT DNA (which goes to 10 gens, mother > mother) attached to Catherine Berry

I do see Alice Simcock Showing MT I as a haplgroup, propagating from a daughter of her sister Ann Worrilow
