John Arther Swarm, Also known as Jake Swarm was boren in Clarion County, PA. He maried Susan Mill of Clarion and produced three children; Calvin Arther, Chester, and Bessie Their mother Susan died in child berth when Bessie was born. John later married Elinor Hand of Corry, PA and produced three more children; Jack Jr., Richard, and James, all born on Carter Hill near Corry. John Arther is buried in the Hand lot in the Spring creek cemetery
