I have just gotten my hands on this document that offers a window into the life of my great, great grandfather. But I don’t speak a lick of German, and these century old documents are a complete blank. Was he a doctor? Accused of being a quack? Did he live at a given address? Are there relatives listed?

It’s a complete cipher to me. Can someone help decipher this doc??

Dear Jeremy,
It is handwritten.
So i can also not read it.
Do you know which court in which city has handeled the case?
In which city was he born?
Have you done DNA Test for Family-Research?

This is from Nossen. I received the doc from the Saxony Archives: https://www.archiv.sachsen.de/archiv/bestand.jsp?guid=3704019f-5b43...

Here's their description of the record:

1881 - 1890
Investigation against Mohrmann, Theodor Richard, naturopath, Nossen, for offering and selling medicines
Order as: Saxon State Archives, 11079 District Court of Nossen, No. 00208

It appears he was being investigated for naturopathy, for offering and selling medicines? I'm not sure what that means. My great grandfather -- Richard Mohrmann's son, Emil Mohrmann -- went on to become a doctor ... possibly fulfilling his father's dream?
