Sarah's husband John Morgan was killed in Sabine Parish by a sheriff's posse on 11 Jan 1883. The same night he killed John L. Furlow FAG memorial #42864594 in nearby Springridge Cemetery, one of the posse, at his father-in-law William Fletcher Wood's home. Don't know where he was buried but his ex sister-in-law Ellen Frances Darnell Morgan is buried in McCaskill Cemetery near the residence.
