Hi Sharon,
Prior to July 17 this year she was not on radar. Beginning early this year several curators began a Cherokee upgrade project, goals were to clean up relationships, add correct data, then partially lock down a profile to insure that users had a stable platform from which they could have a sense of confidence in the data not subject to continuous change.
Sokinney "Susannah" Soe-Kin-Nee Hendricks showed up in the course of this work but it appears as if she was added by the new Geni resource tool. This tool identifies possible sources leaving it to the user to lookup and review the data in those sources. I usually limit myself to the top 3-4 generations leaving those closer to today’s extended families to complete. It also means that complete research on her has not yet been undertaken.
I frequently add FamilySearch sources identified because FS frequently has documentation such as census records, marriage licenses, etc., so my approval of the source does not necessarily mean I’ve looked at what the source has to offer, you, the user must do that. In this case, if you click on the sources tab, you will see the source and a link to it, follow the link for your additional research. If you find documentation evidence please copy it to Geni to support your data input. Geni has guidance on how to research and input data using the new resource tool. Keep in mind that FS, like Geni, is only as good as the person who enters that data, and can be incorrect.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
