My ggg grandmother, and their son, my gg grandfather shown on your family tree has a discrepancy.
Note, Janet Fraser born 1749, would be too old to be Francis Smollet Holden's mother. He was born between 1796 and 1800 in Dublin, Ireland. Janet would have been 47 to 50 years old when she had him. Is it possible that you have the wrong birth date for her? Or, she is another Janet Fraser Holden, not the one I'm researching?
Janet Fraser Holden's husband Smollet Holden (my ggg grandfather) died in Dublin Ireland in 1813. His death date is shown on the "Grove" music site.
Also, his son Francis Smollet Holden's approximate birth date is shown online. Type Smollet and son Francis Smollet Holden's names into your search bar and you'll find them at several music sites. Both were music composers.
Have you been able to validate Smollet Holden's parents as Procter Holden and his wife's maiden name Urquart? I've not been able to find his parents' names because Smollet's, Janet's, and son Francis Smollet Holden's BMD records were destroyed in Dublin's Post Office during the 1916 Easter Uprising. It would be great to confirm Smollet and Janet's parent's names.
Please let me know your thoughts on my above questions. If you are descended from the same Smollet and Janet Fraser Holden family tree as mine we are distant relatives, so it may be helpful to compare our research.
