I was contacted on Ancestry by someone working on Sula's parental connections and she pointed out there is a deposition available on Ancestry wherein her mother Elizabeth (Strickland) Clark attests under oath that Sula's father was Robert Gene 'Bob' Hinton Jr. I'm attaching a copy of that as documentation under Sula's media file. John Clark was her stepfather, not her biological father.

Nice to meet you!

I just wanted to thank you for bringing Sula's story to my attention. It was truly fascinating. I went ahead and updated her profile to reflect the new information, and I also merged the intertwined tree and added her children.

It's crazy to think that we are actually 8th cousins seven times removed! What a small world.

I hadn't heard of Sula before I was contacted about her. I had two of her half-brothers in my tree, Colon and Lloyd, because I have DNA matches with some of their descendants on Ancestry. I guess she wanted to make sure I included Sula in my tree but had her info correct.

It IS a small world! Sometimes I think I'm related to everyone! lol
