Hi all,
Like Jacques Zeller and his French Lady, immigrant Henrich Zeller b 1693 and Anna Maria Briegal born 1693, come from the Huguenot bunch. Henrich info was totally wrong. He was a German Palatine, whose father was Johann George Zeller. When Henrich arrived at NY in 1710 he had a 9 year old daughter, Anna Maria who married Johannes Schaeffer about 1716. Subsistence records show he married a widow with a child between 4 AUG 1710 and 4 OCT 1710. She certainly was born many years before 1693 birth of Anna Maria Briegal There is zero proof that Heinrich married her.
Between the earliest day Henrich could have married the widow 5 AUG 1710, and 25 MAR 1711 when a third child was added is about 42 weeks. The average pregnancy is 40 weeks. Their new child could have been Henrich’s or she could have been pregnant by someone dead when he married Anna Maria unknown.
Between 25 MAR 1711-24 JUN 1711 Henrich’s daughter, Anna Maria became age 10 and the 2 children on the e 24 JUN 1711 were her unknown child born before they were married and their new child, but. That child died and now there was only one child on the 29 SEP 1711 entry. He was Hartman Zeller.
Bottom LINE, Henrich and his unknown wife were married was born before 1701 when he was at least 18. He was born before 1683 and the maiden’s name of both of his wives is unknown.
