We KNOW without a doubt that the father of Georgi George b bet 1520-1529 is a ROBSON born in the Scottish Borders. We KNOW these people probably did not get out of the Borders till the exodus in 1585... and were coal miners...in County Durham UK. Gilbert could very easily made fast money once in Whitby under the assumed name of Marsyngaile as he was a butcher. in 7 years time, he surely could have had a home, named Baxtergate, and left their goods and business to the family. The research blows holes in Dr Massengill's book, not that it was intended. We found out as a SURPRISE... shock and now irrefutable dna evidence and UK research from the Robson.
