I discovered this by doing a simple google search of the sentence
"After the death of his father John McDaniel, Allen, with his mother, sisters, and brothers, moved to Pike Co., GA and settled in the 7th District near Zebulon."

so apparently someone has confused this Allen McDaniel/linked him to the Trader McDaniel and Granny Hopper line and the "Moytoy" legends....
