Jesse Ice (Ice (Eyck?)) - Jesse Ice

I am a descendent of Jesse Ice b.1750. However, I can't find any mention of Jesse Ice in the family histories of the Ice's of West Virginia. Meaning Frederick Ice, and Indian Billy Ice etc.. HOWEVER, my recent genetic testing does connect me to known decendents of that family. There are so many histories of the West Virginia Ice's but no mention of a Jesse in that time period. Confusing! Any clarification out there?
