I have been noticing for a few years now, a phenomenon where a user named Sharon-Ann Sheina Herr has been adding alternative forms of well-established surnames eg. Klopper/Clopper and Botha/Botah
Keep to the surname on the document/source.
The surnames have changed a little in South Africa.
Delaport have changed to Delport.
Then there is spelling mistakes too.

The name variations can be added to the AKA tab

My thoughts exactly. The aka field is for all alternative spellings and the about section is for a list of sources that refer to any alternatives.
