Abijah Williams, Sr. - Abijah Williams is not the father of Hannah Williams Barnes

Please assist me in correcting my family tree. I have discovered that Abijah Williams and Eunice Dana are not the parents of my 5th great grandmother Hannah Williams Barnes, married to Nehemiah Barnes. Hannah Barnes K85H-L2M on FamilySearch.org
I sent a message to all of the managers of this profile siting source supporting my belief.
Hannah's parents are Samuel Williams and Hannah Powers. Sources are as follows:

Sources for Abijah and Eunice's daughter Hannah, (who died at abt 4 years of age), are being mixed in with the sources for my Hannah Barnes born 11 Sep 1767, died 14 Apr 1835.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry you didn’t get a response sooner.

It does look like you were able to disconnect Hannah Barnes from erroneous ones, and add their correct ones.

I’ve added your references to the profile “about.”

Can I suggest a couple of things?

  • please don’t erase profile data, as you did on Abijah’s profile. He wasn’t wrong, the relationship was wrong.
