There is a lot of endogamy in this family. I have just scratched the surface. She is my great GG grandma & my 3rd Great aunt. William Joseph is my GG grandfather & 3rd Great Uncle. Lillie & William are 1st cousins. Their aunts are their mother-in-laws. I have only gone back in my direct line 3 generations of 1st cousins marrying first cousins. It just dawned on me that their siblings are marrying 1st cousins as well. First sibling I looked at was married to their 1st cousin. I understand why this was common in the colonial days but this seems excessive to me. So am I triple related to my gg Grandparents? and so forth & so on?
