Peggy, Elizabeth, and Charolette, John deeded 80 acres to his daughters on 23 October 1824
Probably William HELLUMS -William HELLUMS made two public land purchases in Walker County, Alabama on 10 Oct 1821. Find results ion page 11. The tracts were about twenty-four miles west of the land purchased by John HELLUMS (b. 1782, son of William and Mary Hellums) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1820 and 1821 (more of this later). This William probably was a cousin to that John HELLUMS

William HELLUMS 1763 wrote his will and filed it in Knox. County on Jan 17, 1808 (a copy is on page 76 of “The Hellums Family” and he names his wife, Mary, his children, John, Polly, and Nina and names as his executors, his brother John and his son John..
According to research William HELLUMS 1763 did not have a son name William HELLUMS 1780-1855.
