Geni has an excellent way of contacting managers of already existing private profiles,
Your message to those private profile managers always start with this text "
"Managers of <private> ********* (link in blue) I am contacting you about this profile:<private> *********** (link in blue)"
The blue link enables the recipients to immediately access that particular Geni profile in order to familiarize themselves with the issue you wish to discus.
The downside is that any responses from any of the recipients asking for additional information are regrettably returned with an un-highlighted link.
The problem then for any prolific Geni contributor only trying to assist is that it becomes a much more complex task to identify the particular profile the recipient is responding to from several other similar but unrelated messages that they may have also sent, and to then access it..
Can anything be done about this?
