Samuel Ayres, Sr. - Which Samuel Ayres Married Abigail Fellows?

There were two men named Samuel Ayres in the area of Ipswich and Newbury, Mass., born about 1750. One has c. 1650 as his birth date; the other 1658.

With a marriage year of 1677, it is more likely that the Samuel born c. 1650 is the one that married Abigail Fellows.

Page 6 of "A record of the descendants of Captain John Ayres of Brookfield, Mass." discusses the Samuel with a specific birthdate of Sept. 14, 1658, in Ipswich. His father was Samuel with no info on his wife. Samuel (1658) married in 1721 and had 4 children, none of whom lived to see their first birthday.

To confuse matters further, FAG (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/116262442/samuel-ayres#) has Samuel 1658 as the husband of Abigail Fellows. Also, some of the children attributed to Samuel and Abigail were born before their marriage.
