If he was born in Wales, the parents connected to him here on Geni don't work geographically since they were in Virginia. It's mostly likely that his parents are unknown and that the connections here on Geni give speculative lineage that should be disconnected until such time as his parentage can be documented, so the Geni pathways aren't incorrect.
