my name is Walter Kraher, born January 27th. 1954.
I live in the city of Linz in Austria.
All my ancestors come from the Saalfelden area,
where I still have a residence.
Our Austrian family spread is minimal and therefore easily manageable.
I'm back to 1590 now.
I've seen that we are both on the trail of
Maria Rohrmoser / Moshammer / Gruber / Floerl are.

maybe I can help shed some light on this family history, even though I haven't found Mary in the baptismal registers.

Her story is extraordinarily interesting because her
sisters,
(possibly half-sisters or nieces, but verifiably born Kraher)
come with her on the first emigrant ship salzburger
Protestants, arrived in Georgia together in 1734.
Her sisters Gertrude and Katharina married the 2 leading pastors and for this reason you can still find personal letters and descriptions of the living conditions in Ebenezer from this time.
