Was Agnita and Antonetta Pieterse van de Caap te same person.
1.Johannes baptism document show the Mother as Aginita Pieters
2. Maria baptism document show the Mother as Antonette Pieterse van de Caap.
3. Catharina baptism document show the Mother as Antonette Pieterse van de Caap.

The rest of the children baptism document show the mother as Anna Agnita Pieters.

Then we must look at this profile as well,

[Cornelia Jacobs Cornelia Jacobs]

if her adoptive parent were Anna Agnita en Jan Jacobs the profile must be merge.

There is also a profile for Maria

[Maria Schildmeyer Maria Schildmeyer]
with the Mother a Antonette if the ladie are the same then a merge must be perform

See https://www.e-family.co.za/ffy/g8/p8735.htm

Names in the record, in publications, etc.

  • Anna Agnetie Pieters was also known as Angenietje van de Caep.
  • Anna Agnetie Pieters was also known as Angenietje van Maria van de Caep.
  • 18 June 1713, the name of Anna was written in the record as Anna Pieters.6
  • 7 June 1716, the name of Anna was written in the record as Agnita Pieterse.7
  • 26 October 1721, the name of Anna was written in the record as Antonette Pieterse.

So - yes - looks like Delia saw the same thing as you and decided it was. She's usually excellent at establishing resources, so it's possible to accept her judgement, pending you or she finding alternatives.

However, on Cornelia Jacobs - See: https://www.geni.com/discussions/159843?msg=1103775, and notice that Delia has (subsequently?) added a profile for a Cornelia Jacobz b. before 10 October 1723, who is the daughter of Johannes Jacobz and Anna Agnetie Pieters https://www.e-family.co.za/ffy/g11/p11455.htm

Removing Dorothea as this Cornelia's biological mother

Private says about this profile: Anna Agnetie Jacobs

On both marriages 1713 and 1718 she was referred to as jonge dogter.

Surely by 1718 she was a widow not a jonge dogter ?

..............

On marriage 1745 referred to as widow.
