Hello!
It's my first discussion on this website so I'm not really sure how it works, however I thought it could be the right place to ask for help from the people who are probably more experienced than me in such matters. So first of all I'm from Poland. Me and my aunt have been looking for my great grandmother's mother for a very long time. The thing is, my great grandmother never knew her mother. It seems like she just disappeared and nobody, not even her 5 children has ever tried to find her. It's always been some kind of a taboo in my family. However some time ago I managed to find her (and my great great grandfather's) marriage cerificate and it looks like they got divorced. Their marriage certificate is written in German so it's a bit difficult for me to understand the whole thing, anyway I could still clearly see the divorce case number. Right under the divorce note there's a stamp from the registry office and under the stamp I can see something else. I'm not sure if that's a date, a number of some other court case, or a number of an act? It is something like this: 1.X10.39/3
By the way my great great grandmother's name and surname are Valeska Ludynia and she was born on 25.05.1907. I hope somebody can help me because it can't leave my head ever since I've found all these informations. The other weird thing is that her mother, so my great grandmother's grandmother lived for a long time after Valeska went missing and she never contacted her grandchildren who clearly needed her help as they were poor and with no parents. Thank you for reading all this.
Kind regards,
Anna Bzdura.
