There is absolutely no record of "Jenny" Sellards Wiley's mother - NONE. There is no record of a marriage with a John Wiley nor Black Wolf Cornstalk. All of these incorrect pieces of data are input by those elaborating the story of my 3rd Great Grandmother's capture and escape by the Shawnee and Cherokee native Americans. Names are fabricated in most cases. I am unable to alter this bogus information. It continues to confuse the would-be researcher.

The geni tree shows Jane Jean Sellards (Bevard) as “most likely” daughter of John Brevard I don’t see anything about John Wiley or a Cornstalk. What can we do to improve the tree?

Sorry, didn’t see Black Wolf Cornstalk, {Shawnee Heritege} Detached him from the tree and locked relationships.

This is so misleading. Where is there ANY actual source for "Jean Sellards" b. 1734 Maryland being the daughter of John Brevard and Mary Brevard? The "sources" are all MyHeritage. That is absolutely not a source. Just more people putting in what they imagine was the case or copies of others doing the same. This is not how to build a family tree that is viable. This "Jean Sellards" is supposedly the wife of Hezekiah Sellards, however, his father and mother were Peter John Sellards and Anna Brevard. Anna Brevard's parents were Jean "John" Paul Brevard and Mary Katherine McKnitt. I simply would like to remove all bogus information, but cannot as I am only the "Manager" of this profile.

Private User - as you may gather, I’m not very familiar with this line. Can you edit into the top of each of the abouts, a very simple:

Parents were:
Spouse was:
Supporting evidence:

The I can detach or move profiles around for you.

But I want to help make sure information is not perpetuated, and it’s best explained by you, who knows the genealogy.

Starting with:

Jane Jean Sellards (Bevard)

Then please edit:

Hezekiah Sellards

Just because records not doesnt mean it not true native people didnt keep records just leave other people alone stop changing thing
