Iva Šamija (Ajduk) - looking for my fathers famil

I'm Eva Hydek and live in the US. - i have only known my last name to be spelled HYDEK until recently. i found my uncle bill with a spelling of Bill Ajduk/Hydek - i was so happy!

Both were in the navy and fought in world war 2. - I think my grandfather, whom I've never met was named Mate Ajduk - born in Dalmatia - He appears to have traveled to Australia and passed away there.

My father was 98 years old and passed away about 6 years ago..I would love to make a connection to learn of my extended family. any help would be so very appreciated. My kind regards, Eva
