Benjamin Peter Durant - Same Peter Durant

If the reference to Peter Durant who survived Ft. Mims, at this link below:

is the same person as this Peter Durant, he didn't seem to have the first name Benjamin and he wasn't killed that day. It states:

Peter Durant Creek Metis Descent, Tensaw; left the fort prior to the attack to pick grapes across the river

Wondering if you have info to clarify if this is the same person or two different Peter Durants
