The only source I personally have for George Lane's mother is her mention in his Vermont death record, where she is recorded as "Elizabeth Minot."

Do we know where the full "Elizabeth Danforth Abbott Minot" comes from?

FamilySearch suggests that Ephraim Lane married an Elizabeth Danforth Abbott, with no explanation for the Minot: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L446-RHQ

And the sources on FamilySearch are, to be kind, not convincing -- it looks in places like multiple women have been confused.

"Soon after he returned to Massachusetts, and married Elizabeth Dan forth, of Dracut, and came back to Walpole and commenced married life in a little house that once stood just north of the residence of Mrs. George Joslin. ... His wife was a highly estimable woman, posssessing [sic] all the womanly virtues, and although schooled to prudence and economy in her younger days, she was ever ready to help the needy and destitute. In her girlhood she passed through the fiery ordeal of poverty and want. She worked out as a servant girl for twenty-five cents per week, and was paid in flax which she spun into fine thread and sold to the gentry to work into lawns. In that way she procured money to purchase her scanty wardrobe. Think of this, you damsels, who complain of $10 per week wages."

So nothing about Minot or Abbott.
