I have been looking for Kezzie, found her here thank you. My grandma was Myrtle Jane Ware. She stated her mother was Kezzie and father was Issac W Ware from Ware Mtn in Centralia. Issac and Kezzie raised pigs on Ware Mtn. Issac worked in the logging camps too. One winter when he was at the camp her mother got hit by a big pig in the back and was sick for two weeks before she died. She lift Myrtle, Anna(Cool) and Cecil behind. They buried Kezzie at Marpleton Cemetary. Had to put the coffin in a boat because the Elk was high. Betsy Lillie had died earlier of fever, approx 2 yrs old when she died. Grandma told stories of how she would rock and rock Little Betsy and how she would be rigid putting her head back until she died. When Issac returned from the camp the children had been spread around various family memebers to be raised. Due to no court records there was no record of these events. I do know that grandma was very upset when Mathews house was set on fire...something about civil war. She stayed with her Aunt Anna Rich for a bit and told stories of putting the mail on the train with a hook in Centralia.
I am interested in any stories, pictures or thoughts of my recollection of some stories grandma told me so many years ago.
