Katherine is showing the married name Acton and all her children have the Acton surname but her only husband has the surname Howard. Who was the father of all her Acton children. She doesn't show any Howard children.

Thanks in advance for any additional info / clarification.

Capt. Richard Acton

Zach Boggess changed the husband's name from Richard Acton to Richard Harris 4 months ago. Maybe just a mistake?

I have no idea. I was just tracing a DNA match's line from Ancestry here on Geni and ran into Katherine and her Acton children but no husband / father by that surname.

sorry if it is wrong I was going by the census I some times think somebody needs to fix it

This page quotes several sources about Richard Acton in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County. I have changed the name from Harris to Acton.
