In 1891 a Frank Herbert Wells was living at Frampton House, Hatherley road, Foot's Cray, Sidcup and my great grandmother was living at Rose Villa, Hatherley road, Foot's Cray, Sidcup. History tells me that in Sept/Oct 1893 Caroline tells Frank that she is expecting his child however he is due to marry a Mary Ann Gore in January 1894. Distraught and devastated Caroline moves to Macclesfield and gives birth to my grandfather Frank Herbert Stacey on the 24th June 1894. After Frank and Mary get married they had their first of 4 children a Frank Sidney James Wells born only 2 weeks after my grandfather on the 10th July 1894. I have carried out a DNA test and have the Wells DNA running through my veins. I have been linked to members of the Wells family on another website however they are distant to Frank and Mary and their children. I would love to make contact with anybody relating to Frank Herbert Wells and Mary Ann Gore and their 4 children as they will not know of me or Frank Wells first son and the children's half brother, my grandfather. In May 1895 Caroline Ann Stacey was in a bastardy case with a Frank Herbert Wells and my grandfather Frank Herbert Stacey on the 1921 census wrote he was born in Sidcup as opposed to Macclesfield that he wrote on the previous census in 1911. I have written a story with regards to my finds and have appeared in the summer edition of "Who Do You Think You Are" magazine and a few months back was interviewed via podcast with"Find my Past".
