Itai I did try to delete the profile but the message said it will delete other associated people and so I have referred it here.to prevent that.

ATTENTION Curators, please assist: I think that I performed an incorrect merge on Nancy Elizabeth Atkinson Please unmerge.

John Albert Rigali - Merge reversed. Please check.

Can you please detach the parents marked as foster in this relationship from the child?

Thank you.

Well THAT is interesting--- they were private now not.
I still don't know if they are duplicates so I'll leave my post but how odd

Aha-- these are the private--- the parents of the one on the left for early 1800's late 1700's:
Private
Mary

Please also detached the foster parents from the child in this relationship:

TIA

Emily Kent Marget, thank you!

The profile was a "leaf" in the tree (no other profile connected through it), so no problem to delete it. Done.

Private User
The two disconnection requests are done.

Another day in the neighborhood.....
Please assist- this merge should be un-merged - someone tried to merge private profiles into private into a public one, just not going to work.

It's surrounding profiles for my cousin, musician Townes Van Zandt ex-wife, and their children, who are still alive. Hello people, it can't be done and why would you want to do this?

https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=84570586740

So sorry Curators, I can't do this, and have to bother you all...

Thanks

WHY are profiles for 1600's ALLOWED to be imported?
Creates a MESS for curated lines and adds WORK to our overworked volunteers:
https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000006788775141?return=merge...

Mary Harris was imported to the tree Sep 16 at 6:18 AM

hardly ANY of the "info" is correct. Adds nothing. No sources, etc.....

RANT. over.

I completed the merges around Capt. Joseph Royall, Ill Cynthia Curtis, A183502, US7875087

You could open a ticket with Geni requesting an enhancement to the Gedcom import process.

And I appreciate the curator support expressed.

Line of duplicates, please check for most recent merge point: Charles Lee

Can a curator request a merge of the profiles of this person's husband? One profile is private.
Mathilda Jenny Apsit

Private User - I was able to trace the Lee duplicates down to Lafayette Lee (new) vs Lafayette Lee (old). There seems to be a generation skip with William Montgomery Lee

This tree looks to be manually loaded and not an import.

I am looking at the following profile:
Marte Andersdatter Holsen

There is a discussion connected to this profile, but there is no indication of it. There should be a "(1)" on the discussion tab, but that is missing.

Do you see the same issue, or is it just on my computer?

Stephen J Nauyokas -- Merge requested

Torbjørn Igelkjøn -- When you see a number on the Discussions tab, it's to let you know how many unread threads you personally have involving that profile. If you're not seeing a number, that means you're all caught up, and you won't see a number again until there's a new post.

Private User thanks.

Private User Thanks for the clarification. This means that the discussions will be hidden when revisiting profiles, which I don't think is a good idea. There should be some indication that a discussion actually exists, in addition to the indicator which shows the number of unread posts.

I have started a thread in "Feature requests":
https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/19471882140823-Discu...

Emily: We have a problem with Lafayette Lee. It appears there is no actual birth or baptismal record for him (not one that Familysearch was able to find, anyway), and for better or worse a Familysearch family tree attaches him to ABNER Lee m. Sarah Dodd, not William H. Lee m. Sarah "Sally" Terrill. Cannot confirm or deny this from available records either - think I better start an independent Discussion.

Dear Curators, could i get an unmerge?
https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=84898334180

Gary - Done.
