"Anderson reports immigrant William Goodwin born "about 1591, based on date of first marriage"; citing "NEHGR 55:24," reports his first marriage 7 November 1616 to "Elizabeth White, daughter of Robert White of Messing, Essex." Elizabeth died "before January 1669/70" by which time William Goodwin had married again. For Goodwin's second marriage, Anderson references "FarmVR Barbour 58, citing FarmLR 2:141"; this second wife was "Susanna (Garbrand) Hooker, widow of Rev. Thomas ..."[10]
