Based on the information on this site which is the only place I could find much of a genealogy on these lines, there seem to be extra generations with no documentation added into the connections here on Geni. Notice that it starts with John, his son Bertram, Bertrams's son Godfrid, Godfrid's son Gerard, and I have difficulty following the connections from there. It 'looks like' to me that Gerard had John who married Constance and they had the son Sir John de Widdrington of Widdrington (a 1304) who m.. Christiana de Swinburne - which is a different line up that connects to the John who married Christiana here on Geni.
The referenced genealogy is from this link: https://www.stirnet.com/genie/data/british/ww/widdrington01.php
However, I found other sites that list the husband of Christian Swinburne as Roger rather than John and I put those notes in his profile (John de Widdrington)

'Northumberland Families' indicates that the family name varied over the next few generations between Woderington, Widrington, Widdrington, etc.. For the sake of simplicity, we hereafter show just Widdrington.
