Some unraveling of which children belong to which mother may be difficult to discover given the lack of birth dates in sources.

SOURCE 1: https://archive.org/details/genealogyofonebr00bent_0/page/96/mode/1... . This is the only source that postulates birth order to mothers.
"Genealogy of One Branch of the Peckham Family of Newport and Westerly, R.I.: and Its Allied Families" shows showing the following birth order, with questioning, belonging to which mothers:—

CHILDREN OF JOSEPH AND (1) _ CLARKE:

Yes sir, I Got 1.Joseph b.1642...2.William...3.Mary d.1695...4.Sarah b.1663...5.John...6.Susannah...7.Joshua...8.Thomas...9.Carew...10.Elizabeth ...10 children of Joseph Clarke named in the will of Joseph Clarke's brother Thomas Clarke ....Have No clue were those other kids came from....Not sure if he had children by just 1st wife or by both wife's ..1st and 2nd wife ...Thanks Kin

Wikitree postulates that Joseph married Margaret "about 1656." Considering this guess, then seeing the following source showing Joshua's birth between 1650-1659 seems to make questionable which mother gave birth to Joshua.

Godfrey Memorial Library. "American Genealogical-Biographical Index." Middletown, CT, USA: Godfrey Memorial Library.

If a source once existed that proved his birth date and place, surely it would be accessible by now. It seems more research won't prove which mother gave birth to Joshua.

hmmm....I found the Children of Joseph Clarke in a book...''The Clarke Family'' a very old book,And even the Book can't say for sure,It said Joseph was married two times,But don't even Know the surnames of 1st or 2nd wife...So we may or not know much more about Joseph, his wife's and children.

Thanks Kin...keep up the good work my friend
