The Stacye clan of South Yorkshire ends with John Newman Stacye. Some lineages have his parents being among the Stacye clan of Essex, specifically Sir Thomas Stacy, Sr.. This seems unlikely since, geographically, that's half the span of all of England away. It would also make John Newman Stacye of noble descent, and that is unlikely and would also be undocumented.
Other resources I can draw on specify no known parents for John Newman Stacye.

My own research turned up no known parents for this John either. However, I doubt he had the middle name Newman as well. Need documentation for the middle name Newman that doesn't appear on other sites:

So I believe the speculated parents connected should be disconnected unless / until his parents can be proven / documented and that the undocumented middle name also be removed.
