@ William Wise
I am completely confused with the 3 generations concerning William and am hoping this will be an easy fix between working with the collaborators of his profile.
1) William Wise m. Sarah Margaret Denmark
There is a problem with his vitals: There seems to be an issue with whether he is English or Scottish from Abuthnott. (Abuthnott is a parish in Aberdeen, so I will be correcting - See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbuthnott).
2) I believe we all agree his father was John Wise, of Kincardineshire was incorrectly credited with dying on the Torbay. He was not on the list of passengers on the Torbay and it would seem we can feel confident he did not die there. We need to research further for his death.
3) We agree, John married Margaret, question being was she Margaret Douglas? Eriica Howton found she was not. Is she Margaret Tait?
According to Family Search, Marculture is a parish in Kincardineshire (https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Maryculter,_Kincardineshire,_S...)
However Maryculter's address is in Aberdeen (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=where+is+m...)
Difficult to research genealogy without an accurate address
* Are we comfortable that Maryculter is in Aberdeen not Kincardineshire?

According to the Church Registers, there is a William Wise born in Maryculter to John Wise and Margaret Tait on 5 FEB 1744.
There is a parish record of Margaret Tait born in Maryculter to William Tait and Margaret Colley on 13 June 1727 (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results/12280256526577570...)
There is a parish record of John Wise born in Abuthnott 25 July 1721 to David Wise (No mother listed) (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results/1444188922657758f...)
This would mean Margaret would be 17 and John was 23 when William was born.
Of interest:
1) it is 20 miles north from abuthnott to maryculter
2) John left home to be with Margaret
3) no marriage on record between Margaret and john
While Researching Marriages, there are no records of John Wise being married in Aberdeen (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results/12148716936577531...) or Maryculter (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results/12148716936577531...)
- There are 20 results for a Margaret Tait getting married in Scotland after 1735, but none to a John Wise https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results/583638354657754c6... and none in Maryculture or Aberdeen
* There is a possibility they weren't married at the time of Williams birth and ran away together to the Colonies
