There are a number of errors listed here on family of Thomas McPherson. First, Thomas was not a child of Alexander and Mary. Their children were George, Isaac Sr, Anne Joe, Alexander, Joseph, Jesse, Jacob, James Elijah and Andrew Alexander. The Amy, Bertha, George Washington and Mary listed above are not in this family, nor was Thomas.
Thomas G McPherson, listed above, was the son of Capt. Alexander McPherson and Mary Weems.
Often, people combine the two Alexander's as the same person. This one married a Mary Weems, the other married a Mary Beall.
