Any assistance would be appreciated. I am trying to determine if the above names belong to one person, or two people. They were born in the same year: 1879, and family vaguely remember Nina died late 1940s/early 1950s. Dinah died 1947. Both lived in the George/Touws River Western Cape area.
Nina married Edward Hansen Kaspersen, and Dinah Francina Claudina died as a Kaspersen, with her maiden name unknown. Strangely enough, a grave for yet another Kaspersen - Rachel E. C. is also found in George, Western Cape, with the same birth year of 1879 and death date 1947. Kaspersen is not a common surname, with basically only one family in the country at that point with that surname, so it is possible all three these persons were actually the same person, or potentially at least closely related (likely through marriage, and the only person who could have been the husband for either of these two woman in that area was Edward Hansen Kaspersen).
I am hoping that there is someone in the van der Nest family who may be able to shed some light on this mystery.
Thank you.
