His actual name is Francis Cooper AKA Frank His father is Benjamin Porter. We need to remove Benjamin Cooper and Elizabeth Kelly as his parents. This has been proven through a Y DNA study done. A study was done with participants from the FTDNA Y DNA and matches at the 111 marker level. Participants that were descended from several of Francis's sons was completed and documented. The documentation relating to this study can be found on Ancestry as well as Family Search. There are no known brothers to Francis. We do know that much further down the line Abraham is related, but not a close enough relation to be able to determine the MRCA. We need to ensure that those trees that contain this incorrect information get corrected.
