Evidence for the Ralegh-Wodhuli match comes from the will of Nicholas Wodhull, dated in 1531, in which he names among his feoffees George Ralegh,esquire, and Anthony Ralegh, esquire. Mary had a daughter Joyce and a son Anthony b. ca. 1517 who m. Anne, daughter of John Smith, esquire, by his wife Agnes Harewell the sister of Elizabeth, wife of Anthony Ralegh. Anthony Wodhull had a daughter Agnes who m. Richard Chetwode, whose granddaughter Grace m. the Rev. Peter Bulkeley as his second wife and emigrated with him to New England in 1635 (''The Genealogist'', 7-8:41-7)."

PS: If by accepting this Mary as a daughter of Edward Raleigh and Anne Chamberlain, she necessarily would have been their firstborn child in consideration of a marriage to Nicholas circa 1507/8. This seems to necessitate some rethinking RE circa birth years for Edward and Anne's other children.
