Just looked yesterday online to see if the Webster connection intersects with the Mayflower passengers. Drum roll please. Yes, it does. Personally, I had no idea until yesterday that Roswell Webster married Betsy Doud who is a descendant of John and Priscilla Alden, Mayflower passengers.
Here's from the Webster book leading up to Grandma Ethel May (Webster) Nordquist from Gov. John:

Rebecca Grinnell's mother was Lydia Pabodie.
Lydia Pabodie's mother was Elizabeth Alden (b. 1623 d. 5/31/1717), who was the oldest child of John and Priscilla (Mullins) Alden, who were both passengers on the Mayflower.
