The news coverage of Sally Snowman becoming the last lighthouse keeper in U.S. history as of her retirement yesterday has me wondering if we should have a companion project covering "Famous Lasts."
What do others think? Are there lists we could work off? And would that be the right name to use?
I'm happy to help a project up...I just want to make sure we'd have interest and actual lists to use. I'm having trouble finding lists using Google, but probably because it's hard to think of what to search!
Some I can think of might be...
- last monarchs of countries that no longer have them
- last person on the moon (Eugene Cernan)
Would there be enough "lasts" to justify a project?
