From a family memoir by Vally / Valerie Judith Schwager née Löwit written in the 1960s:
Uncle Julius and his wife Berta lived in Aussig. We visited them occasionally on Sundays. Their children [Ida and Otto] were already married, but they had adopted one of aunt Berta's nieces by name of Poldi. Although Poldi was several years older than I we became close friends. Poldi was very pretty, vivacious and generous. Years later, when I was already living in Palestine, she married a certain Mr Koretz who played the violin in the Dresden Symphony Orchestra. The couple subsequently lived in Dresden and I never met them again.
