Trying to sort this family as it intersects some others that I am working on.

Oldest and living in Cedar Creek area - related to Wise Cemetery, Old State Cemetery, Stroud Cemetery.

John Small

William Small

Were John and William brothers? Need to search census records for area. Who was the first Small in the area?

1820 census

"United States Census, 1820", , FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XHL7-6RM : Wed Oct 04 05:54:35 UTC 2023), Entry for Richard Small, 1820.
(in Aynor)

Seems that Richard was born circa 1800 as between 15-24 and head of household in 1820.
Is Richard the father of John and William? Seems to be a possibility as the creek goes.

Does seem to be a different set of Smalls and should not be confused with the Georgetown ones. Need to sort to see.
