accidently added a non existent child to a non existent husband

I was adding children to a married couple. I somehow added a non-existent husband & child to my niece.I am unable to remove them from the tree. Currently, the titles on their boxes are "add father "
and "no name" for the child. I want to remove the boxes. I have tried EVERYTHING. When I go the profile edit pages and choose REMOVE. They just do not remove.

A curator can cut wrong connections for you. Post in https://www.geni.com/discussions/257430 and give a link to the problem profiles there.

You should be able to delete the child, then delete the husband. Just removing the data isn't going to make the profile disappear. Delete profile is an option at the bottom of the Actions button when looking at the profile page. Delete is an option in the More menu when looking at the profile in the tree.
