Cynthia Curtis & the Managers of Benjamin Tatum,

I am contacting you about this profile: Benjamin Tatum I have added a link to the March 1813 Chancery Record 1815-027 Mary Tatum, Widow of Benjamin Tatum, etc., versus Meriwether Hurt, administrator of Benjamin Tatum.

There are a couple errors in this record:

Perry C. Noel was not married to Elizabeth Lester Elizabeth only had one husband and one son Josiah Lester The court record state Josiah Lester

Anthony Craften, Sr. was not married to Mary LaFoe Anthony's sister Ann Tatum married to Mary's brother Reuben Gravett Tatum, Sr Anthony's wife's named was Mary but, as recorded in the court records, she was not the daughter of Benjamin. Mary Tatum LaFoe is shown taken out a mortgage in 1823 in Lunenburg Co VA

I saw the message before the Discussion---

Elizabeth Lester disconnected from Perry C. Noel
Added first name of JOSIAH to her husband Josiah Lester

Added unknown to maiden name of Anthony Craften, Sr. 's wife Mary Craften

Mary LaFoe disconnected from father Benjamin Tatum and a note placed on her About that she is not his daughter.

But it appears Mary LaFoe needs reconnected to father Benjamin?
I need a curator please

Lloyd Earl Anderson please see

https://www.planetmurphy.org/pagebuild.php?pagebody1=TatomsfromVirg... says: Mary Lafoe – wife of Daniel Lafoe who are daughters of the said inters.

the pleading written in March 1813 cut off at inters. should read intestate

Yes.

Very interesting site! I see many familiar names there!
I am a Pool and Hicks descendant and will revisit

I have asked for my disconnect to be reversed. I am not able to make the corrrection/undo

The disconnect has been corrected.
This was the bad merge that brought in the in-law:

You may want to ask for the two Mary's to be MP'd so they don't get merged again but it doesn't look like there is much to gain by undoing the bad merges since they are correct now but having MP'd can help since they have continually been confused elsewhere :)

Mary LaFoe
Mary Craften
