I hadn't visited these lines on Geni in a while and had reason to check the connections this evening. What I have on Ancestry isn't in sync with what is connected on Geni. I'm attaching a screenshot from Ancestry from this link:
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61175/images/colon...
that states that this Joseph's parents were from Workington, Parish of Brumfield, Cumberland, England and their youngest child, this Joseph, of Workington immigrated to Bucks County, Pennsylvania. All that pretty well matches up with what is on Geni BUT if you go back up from Joseph's father WIlliam you begin to see previous ancesotors already immigrated from England to Masschusetts, which doesn't seem to fit.
Geni shows Joseph's great-grandfather William (triplet) born in England and died in Massachusetts, then Joseph's grandfather John I born and died in Massachusetts and then Joseph's father William born and died in England.
I think the line needs review to see if the branch of the family that settled in Massachusetts and this Joseph who settled in Pennsylvania are correctly connected. As it is, it 'looks like' William (triplet) came to America, had a family here and then somehow his grandson William ends up born back in England instead of in America and the immigration process had to begin again and settled in a different area. ?
So I guess what I'm saying is, I feel confident who this Joseph's parents were, but I'm not at all sure that his father WIlliam was the son of John Poole I and his wife Margaret Tomlin. In fact, the About section notes for William don't make a good case for who his parents were, stating:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pool-2462 doesn't identify his parents
So that seems to be where it has gotten speculative and why things aren't geographically in sync.
Then there is nothing in John I's About section regarding his chidlren:
except a link to what is on Family Search and that site, in my opinion, has LOTS of errors due to undocumented connections and a lot of perpetuated tree errors.
Bottom line, beyond this Joseph's parents (and I'm attaching proof of that under the Media tabs), it seems all his lineage connections are most likely incorrect and giving speculative pathways here on Geni. In such cases, I feel it's best to disconnect the speculative connections until such time as if / when proof of the connections are available.
